Ini info Guest Speaker kita dari "ROTARY JAKARTA" disingkat RJ.

" Sekolah di Indonesia mahal??? Kenapa gak coba sekolah di Jerman aja? Kalo mau, sekolah S1 ampe S3 (bukan SD ampe SMA maksudnya....) pun bisa  gratis...!!!
 
Tamu kita adalah Mr. Radu Stefan
Radu adalah kepala UI Mercator Bridge Project, institusi yg bergerak dalam bidang pendidikan dan bertujuan menjembatani Universitas2 yg ada di Jerman - Asia.
Dia bakal ngomongin gimana  pentingnya pendidikan tinggi dan juga all about  beasiswa di Jerman. Dia udh keliling Asia buat menyukseskan proyek ini.



Acara ini sangat menyedot peminat yg cukup banyak. Ternyata banyak yg ingin sekolah gratis yah...? Apa karena Guestnya ganteng.....?Wink



Ini lah anggota member dan beberapa peserta yg harid ingin mengabadikan moment denga guest.
Wow gayanya kayak saha yah...Hurmph Cwiw.... Banyakan ceweknya ? Surprise

Yudha's visit

Yap yap yap... our beloved DRR Yudha was the guest speaker in our club. But on that particular day, Yudha came not as a DRR but as a person who had the chance to speak at UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris, last year (www.republika.c.id/Koran detail.asp?id=214593&kat id=13). WOW!!! Incredible!!!!and also.... He spoke in front of the forum also!!!!! He added that (correct me and Yudha if we were wrong) he was the first and only (until now) delegation from Indonesia. We are pruod of you, dude!!!!!

Yudha told us his journey and it was incredible and in the end he encouraged us not to give up to reach everything.... Say AMEN for that my brotha` and sista`!!!!!!

I'm really sorry again!!! Due to the limitation of the documentation, we only can post 2 pictures here.... Thank you for Rtn. Thomas for the kindly documentation.....

Watching movie and break fasting!!!!!

Wuzzz Up with RAC SEMANGGI????? Hey hey hey.... really sorry for the late updates....

Here is the first project from Pres. Eddy Poernomo!!!!! We had breakfasting with the children in Pulo Gadung.... with more or less 100 children.... We entertained them with watching movie.....

We really happy to know that they (the children) are happy with our program.....

What made us sad was the environment surrounding the children. There were factories and smog!!!!! You guys know the fact that smoke and smoking are not good for us..... but this is more than that!!! It was SMOG!!!!! and a dangerous one!!!! Very bad for the children's health......

Hitchiking?!?!?!?

What happened on the meeting 12 September 2006?

Tour the world by hitchiking?!?!?!? How could that possible be?!?!?!
Well, that is really done by Mr. Ludo, the frenchman who travles the world by hicthiking!!
Listening and seeing his advetures were so cool!! he was so brave and amazing!!
Well, if at 1st you heard him say so, probably you'll think he's crazy!!!! But don't worry, he's not that crazy :P
Anyway... the meertng was so full of people came to hear gis story, and let's hope interested too to join the club...

About us! About Rotaract Club Jakarta Semanggi

Rotaract (Rotary In Action) is a youth organization sponsored by Rotary Club Jakarta, was established May 25th, 1986, with Rtr. Yonesia Syamsir as the first president.

Numbers of our active members come from a variety of backgrounds. We have individuals who work in Corporate Banking, Public Relation, HRD Training, GYM Instructor, Advertising Agency, Marketing Research, e-commerce, as well as civil servants, technicians, Organizers, Teachers, College students and many more.

�Service above Self,� The Rotary Club Motto is our guiding principle. We try, accordingly, to organize service project to help the community around us.

Rotaractors are partners in service with our Rotary Club Sponsor. We try to serve the wider community on a continuing basis through our community service project. In addition, we try to provide our own members with ongoing opportunities for professional development.

Some of our community service projects have involved helping the people in the Mampang area with sanitation issues, working with street children, and providing book donations.

Weekly guest speakers provide our members with professional development opportunities, along with in-house speakers from within our own membership.
